Mission Statement

Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with God and people everywhere, from all walks of life, to develop communities with people in need by building and renovating houses, so that there are decent houses in decent communities in which every person can experience God's love and can live and grow into all that God intends.

"The ultimate goal of Habitat for Humanity is to elimate poverty housing and homelessness from the face of the earth by building adequate and basic housing."

Habitat for Humanity is also known for their Restores. Each Restore is independent but strive for the same mission. There are Restores all over the country. The Restores were created to help fund the building of houses. Everything in the Restores are 100% donated and $0.96 of each dollar goes to building someone's house.
