Mission Statement

The mission of Show M.E. Don't Tell Me - Evan's Elves is to provide assistance to less fortunate children, families, and veterans of Metro-Detroit. We provide school and educational supplies, winter clothing, and a Christmas Celebration. We are here to support members of our community who have economic struggles stemming from the loss of a parent, a life threatening medical condition, a parent being lost to war, or grandparents who have taken on the care for their grandchildren.

Description

Evan's Elves works closely with Volunteers of America - Michigan for a portion of the families we select our other methods are from references from Metro Detroit Public School Teachers and Principals. Our mission is to provide a Christmas and Education supplies to families and children of cities of Metro Detroit.

Our families are selected based on ... meeting one or more of the following criteria : Grandparents who have adopted their grandchildren, Families who have lost a parent to war, Families who have one or more family members dealing with a life threatening disease and the medical bills is what has led the family down a financial hardship, and lastly we assist American Veterans.

This is a such a fun organization to volunteer for, you are selling old leftover VIP posters at The Fillmore during show and all proceeds go to less fortunate families in the metro Detroit area for the holidays. Evan is such a nice person and it is very professionally ran, depending on the show and amount of people volunteering you can check out the show as well! Highly recommend if you can swing the weekends and late night hours.
