Description

Founded in 2010, EquallyAble is an internationally recognized non-profit organization that aims to empower, enable, and encourage those living with disabilities. Over one billion people in the world have some kind of disability, with as many as 80% living in isolated regions of developing countries. Unable to access education, find employment, or support themselves, millions of people suffering from debilitating diseases cannot achieve their potential. While EquallyAble works towards generating dialogue, improving inclusion, and advocating for those who cannot advocate for themselves, our organization envisions a world where people are only seen for their abilities and not their disabilities. EquallyAble works to remove barriers by transporting students to school, creating job opportunities, providing medical equipment, and more for the disabled. Together, we can expand millions of possibilities, so people facing disabilities can lead independent, productive, and extraordinary lives.
