Mission Statement

To provide pre-identified and trained local medical and non-medical volunteers and public health professionals to contribute their skills and expertise throughout the year as well as during times of public health emergencies.

Description

Centering on a public health focus, our existing medical professionals and nonmedical volunteers is the foundation on which the Medical Reserve Corps is built. Our MRC Unit will expand its existing Human Resources Advisory Committee to gain additional support from new corporate partners and community volunteers. The purpose of the MRC of Chattanooga-Hamilton County will be to supplement existing county public health services in day-to-day operations and emergencies.
