Mission Statement

Hello good people! My name is Clarence Turner. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share my vision and intent in my run for Atlanta City Council at Large Post 1 in the 2009 election.

At only 28, I have had the pleasure of seeing our great city develop into one of the most influential and sought after cities in the nation. The evolution of our city is a direct relation to our vastly diverse residents.

My platform is simple; Inclusion. Hearing the collective concerns of all and acting on them. I want to be an inspiration to the youth of Atlanta; that they can be leaders too and affect change within their circles. That they can rise above their situations and become more. What makes Atlanta one of the best cities in America is the quality of life. Something that hasn't come without hard work. And if we want to maintain our quality of life, it is going to take full community involvement.

I want to see our city invest in new and innovative revenue generating. I want to see our city become a leader in promoting and living green. I want our city to invest in efficient technology that will move us into the future and be fiscally stronger.
