Mission Statement

We are committed to finding forever loving homes for pets. We want to end the plight and suffering of homeless, neglected and abused companion animals, and to educate the public about the benefits of spaying and neutering.

Description

HPARA is a "no-kill" rescue. This means that we do not euthanize an animal unless a veterinarian deems it necessary for medical reasons. We take in dogs primarily from over full "kill" shelters, Individual owners who can no longer care for them. Pets that come to us are cared for by dedicated volunteers.
