Description

Each center has an auxiliary, that works with community groups and local businesses, and sponsors fund-raising events in order to meet the non-budgeted needs of the medically indigent families served by the Public Health Unit. Holiday food baskets, parties and the food pantry are several of the specific projects that center auxiliaries plan and organize with local community support.

The key to the continued success of our volunteer initiatives is the sustained support of various professional associations, public/private partnerships, and individuals who commit to strengthen and develop collaborative relationships in their local communities.
