Mission Statement

Shepherd’s Center of Western Fairfax County -- one of more than 80 Shepherd’s Centers in the Shepherd’s Centers of America (www.shepherdcenters.org) network-- was organized in 2015 as an interfaith ministry to provide assistance services and programs to elderly residents of western Fairfax County and the communities of Clifton, Centreville, and Chantilly. At present, SCWFC offers assisted driving for our clients to get to needed medical and food bank services. With greater volunteer support from across our area, we hope to be able to expand to other services and programs.

Description

SCWFC is an all-volunteer group of concerned citizens, faith groups, and community organizations who value to our elderly friends and neighbors and want to enable them to continue to live in our neighborhoods with meaning and purpose. Our affiliation with the SCA gives us access to a large number of possible services and programs to offer our elderly neighbors. We seek other similarly interested citizens to join us and help us add grace and value to our clients' lives.
