Bay Worms' Mission:

  1. Divert food and organic waste from our landfills.
  2. Educate and benefit the public by promoting and implementing vermiculture technology.
  3. Create high quality soil amendments or fertilizer in the form of worm castings as an alternative to commercially produced synthetic products.

Description

Bay Worms is a non-profit community organization that diverts waste from landfills by converting it into rich compost. Using vermicomposting methods, Bay Worms provides compost, worm castings and earthworms to local businesses and residents. Bay Worms offers educational presentations and workshops to schools, residents and businesses in hopes of teaching the benefits of waste diversion through vermicomposting.
