Hayflakes Sanctuary

Description

Hayflakes Sanctuary is a 7 acre facility that houses over 65 animals ranging from pigeons to llamas. At Hayflakes we believe it's not enough to simply be alive, you have to thrive. Our horses are kept in herds at pasture, the birds in flocks, and our dogs live in packs while having family time with the volunteers that reside at the sanctuary. It's not only their home- it's ours, too! Hayflakes Sanctuary only accepts animals directly from other rescue orginizations when they are unable to handle their unique requirements, or from the veterinarians that were asked to euthanize them. The healing atmosphere of Hayflakes makes it a haven for all. You can't help but feel a little bit of your own soul heal when you spend time surrounded by so much love and grattitude. It's kinda like aloe vera for the soul.
