Mission Statement

Center for Hearing and Communication's mission is to improve the quality of life for infants, children and adults with all degrees of hearing loss.

We accomplish our mission by providing hearing rehabilitation and human services for people who are hard of hearing or deaf, and their families, regardless of age, ability to pay, or mode of communication, and by striving to empower consumers to achieve their potential .

Description

Center for Hearing and Communication is a hearing rehabiiation not-for-profit providing hearing health services. Services include complete diagnositc audiological evaluations, hearing solutions (sales and service), social services, mental health, educational presentations, and educational afterschool programs for children.

CHC also is the distribution site for FTRI specialized telephone equipment "FREE" to any Florida resident over three years of age that has any hearing or speaking challenges.

The FTRI Dept provides informative presentations, off site Distributions at your facility and In-home service to HOH home bound people.
