To promote and preserve Maud Hart Lovelace's legacy and her work, encourage and support literacy and conserve historic landmarks in Mankato.

Description

We promote the writings of Maud Hart Lovelace especially her Betsy Tacy Series. We provide tours of the historic homes of Maud Hart (Betsy) and her friend Bick Kenney (Tacy). Betsy-Tacy Society holds special events focusing on literacy and community history.
