Mission Statement

The National Tate Family Association, Incorporated (NTFA) exists to enable its members to advance world understanding, social change, goodwill, and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty.

Description

Vision: NTFA envisions nothing less than its members realizing and reaching their full potential - through universal access to research and education, full participation in culture - to drive a new societal era of development, growth, and productivity.
About Us: NTFA is a membership based organization with chapters across the United States of America. Its growing 1,567 membership base is comprised of the descendants of Haywood Tate and Edith Wilson, who united in holy matrimony on August 24, 1867 in Orange County, North Carolina; shortly after their emancipation from slavery.
