Mission Statement

Beeline To The Cure 5k is an event to raise awareness about Non-Ketotic Hyperglycinemia (NKH), fundraise money for research in order to find a treatment or cure for this genetic disease, and save babies' lives. Bringing awareness about this disease is our number one goal since most people, including doctors, have never heard of NKH.

Description

SWARM for NKH (Simple Wishes Affecting Research And Medicine for Non-Ketotic Hyperglycinemia) is an organization formed in the honor of Delilah B; a current fighter of NKH. Delilah is currently active in research, where only donations from fundraisers, family, and friends support the numerous tests and studies required. SWARM for NKH is dedicated to raising money for NKH research that is not currently provided by any government or federal funding. Swarm for NKH is also raising awareness, and is in the process of writing Delilah's law. Only 10 states in America test for this genetic disease at birth. Oklahoma is not one of these states, and Delilah’s Law will change this issue.
