Mission Statement

The Instituto de Arte y Cultura el Divino Nino is a non-profit organization established to promote within each child the spirit of excellence, love, humility, compassion similar to Christ's and a mutual respect towards one another. We strive to develop programs to reach the neediest, the poorest, the most alienated, all children who struggle for human rights and human dignity. We continually remember and remind our students that, it does not matter what social condition we were born into, we are all poor and small in the eyes of God.

Description

The Insituto de Arte y Cultura el Divino Nino is a non profit Institute dedicated to providing educational opportunities and exposure to the arts to the children of families without the economic resources to do so on their own in Panama City, Panama, Central America. Our services and programs are geared to children who come from orphanages, foster cares, churches and child welfare agencies from in and around Panama City, Panama. The Institute provides a creative outlet for children who have no one to turn to and for those who have undiscovered talents, to discover and nurture them; all the while teaching them to respect one another and that we are all equal in the eyes of God. This Institute aims to also foster emotions of self-esteem and help plant self confidence in those children who have been abused and abandoned.
