To monitor, protect and enhance the Pamlico-Tar River and watershed while promoting environmental justice.

Description

Small non-profit (4 staff; 1500 members) that uses research, education and advocacy to protect, preserve and promote the river and its watershed. Our orgnization supports a RIVERKEEPER, part of WATERKEEPER Alliance,who monitors and protects the river and serves as a scientific and educational resource to all the people living in the watershed.
