Evan Ashcraft Foundation

Mission Statement

The Evan Ashcraft Foundation is a non-profit IRS section 501(c)(3) tax exempt public charity (tax ID number. 33-1209904). The mission of the Foundation is to memorialize SGT Evan Ashcraft who was killed in action in Iraq on July 24, 2003. This will be done by performing charitable acts.

Before Evan died he told his family, "When I come home, I just want to help people." The Foundation was created to fulfill the wish of this exceptional man.

The Foundation provides grants to non-government agencies that provide post traumatic stress disorder counseling to veterans of Operation Iraqi Freedom (Iraq) and Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan) and to provide educational funds to the veterans and dependants of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, and any other such activities or objects of a charitable nature in his name.
