Mission Statement

Pittie Me Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer based dog rescue, We are dedicated to saving the lives of homeless animals in our community. We primarily rescue dogs from our local shelters & neglectful situations.

Description

Pittie Me Rescue is a volunteer based animal resuce who relies on its dedicated volunteer and foster families to help save dogs with a heavy emphasis on Bully breeds. We attend adoption events usually once a month. Our rescue needs volunteers who are dedicated to helping our dogs excel in positive behavior and help reinforce their training. The dogs really enjoy going for walks, hiking, going out and meeting people or just hanging on the property and having play time.

All of our dogs live with foster families who help them acclimate to a family environment especially if they came from a shelter or neglectful situation where they were not a part of the family. Some of our homes have multiple foster dogs and that is where the most volunteer opportunities are needed.

Most of the events we attend are in the Southeast Valley. There are two locations, one in Gilbert and one in Scottsdale, that have multiple adult dogs that could benefit from volunteers coming and working with them.

We also would love to have more committed foster families so we can save more pets. If you are interested in that, please click on the link below:

Volunteers must be 18 years old to interact with the dogs unless a parent/guardian is present. We will determine which dogs are appropriate for each volunteer.
