The Faith Partners Team Ministry Approach organizes and empowers congregational members with particular experience or interest in the healing process for people with addictions and their affected families. With specialized training, they work as teams to advance healing opportunities within the congregation.

While one person can make a difference, involving a small group increased the impact enormously and makes the effort more sustainable. Supported by the clergy and endorsed by the full congregation, these teams conduct a sustaining service of healing. This service is three-fold:

• One, providing materials, events, and programs of education.
• Two, providing specific support, assistance, and referral to services for individuals and families in trouble.
• And three, recognizing and honoring successful recovery.
