Mission Statement

To provide funding, materials, training and support services to organizations that serve Bolivians with disabilities, thereby significantly improving their lives, both physically and emotionally: Through improved physical abilities The capability to better contribute to their families and community Increased self-esteem Greater employment opportunities.

Description

Founder Matt Pepe witnessed the scope of the problem that disabled Bolivians faced, first hand while living in Bolivia for two years. Volunteering in a prosthetic hospital there, he observed that amputees in particular were highly discriminated against and received little support from neither foreign NGOs nor the Bolivian government. For this reason he created Bolivians Without disAbilities in the states to support charities in Bolivia which are having a positive affect on the lives on handicapped Bolivians. The name " Bolivians With out dis Abilities" represents our dream that, with our support, Bolivians who are disabled today will not feel disabled tomorrow.
