The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) is to create, find and support programs that directly improve the health and well being of children.

Description

Ronald McDonald House Charities, a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) corporation, creates, finds and supports programs that directly improve the health and well being of children. Its grassroots-driven programs offer help where children need it most - right in their own communities. RMHC makes an immediate, positive impact on children's lives through its global network of local Chapters in 52 countries and regions and its three core programs: the Ronald McDonald House, Ronald McDonald Family Room and Ronald McDonald Care Mobile. These programs provide a bridge to accessible health care and allow families more time together, which helps in the healing process. RMHC and its global network of local Chapters also have hundreds of millions of dollars in grants and program services to children's programs around the world.

I have really enjoyed my one year volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House near Cox South. The staff are quite fabulous as are the other volunteers. If you truly want to help families going through trying times then this is it. It is an act of compassion to work here. The staff will tailor your shift to your schedule and interests. You walk away counting your blessings.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Ozarks has been a great place for me to give back to the community. The staff is fantastic and makes sure that you feel comfortable and confident in what you are doing. Ronald McDonald has been one of my favorite places to volunteer because of this. I never feel lost or unsure of what to do. They offer a range of tasks around the house that can be completed. No two volunteer shifts have to be the same and they have many events that you can help out at as well. I feel like I have truly helped the community when I give my time to the Ronald McDonald House.
