Mission Statement

The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkansas is to provide a home away from homethat serves and sustains families of children being treated at area hospitals; to offer families of hospitalized children the opportunity to refresh, rest and reflect within or near the treatment center; to deliver cost-effective medical, dental and educational services to under served children in thier neighborhood; and to provide support to organizations that serve the needs of children.

Description

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkansas enhances the lives of children and their families by creating and supporting programs that directly improve the health and well being of children. The Ronald McDonald House is our primary program we offer, but we are very excited to announce we will have Arkansas' first Ronald McDonald Care Mobile this Spring.

The Ronald McDonald House is a home away from home for families of children being treated at Arkansas Children's Hospitals and other local treatment facilities. We provide home-like living accommodations with all the amenities and extra comforts families need to help them take care of themselves and their ill child. The House is a meeting place for families in medical crisis to come together and share their experiences, fears, and ultimately, their love and hope with each other.

The Ronald McDonald Care Mobile is a 40 foot, state of the art dental clinic on wheels. Teaming up with Arkansas Children's Hospital and Delta Dental of Arkansas, we provide free dental care and educational services to under served children in their own neighborhoods.
