A friendly visit to a hospice patient might be the highlight of their week! Do you have a desire to connect in a personal way and help someone in your community? Do you have two hours a week or four hours a month? We need you. Southeast Hospice is locally owned. We provide the highest quality of compassionate care to patients and their families who are facing life limiting illness. Our volunteers are critical to helping us provide this excellent care and support. They visit with patients in their homes or facilities. They provide companionship and caregiver relief. Veterans Needed to Visit Hospice Patients for Pinning Ceremony

At South East Hospice we Honor Veterans. Many of our patients have served in the armed forces. We like to honor them and their service with a pinning ceremony and certification. This means so much more when it comes from another veteran. We are looking for veteran volunteers to visit and perform this short presentation. It is an "as needed" type of position. Help needed for mowing and edging hospice patient's yard. Patient can no longer do the work. Location is near 520 and Deans Bridge Road. Once a week preferred. You make the schedule.
