Mission Statement

The mission of the Volunteer Lawyer Program of Northeast Indiana is to provide equal access to the justice system for low income and disadvantaged residents in Indiana Federal District 3. Our goals are to treat all people with dignity and respect, provide equal access to civil legal services and create partnerships with the legal community, social service agencies and the community at large to expand services to those most in need.

Description

A program of the Volunteer Lawyer Program is the Volunteer Advocates for Seniors and incapacitated Adults (VASIA). This program provides guardians for adults in our community who have no willing or appropriate family or friends able assist them. We serve adults who are developmentally disabled, traumatic brain injuries and seniors.
