To acquire, plan, develop, program, and maintain park property in the county for residents and nonresidents alike. To secure the preservation of open space and places of scenic or historic value.

Description

Recreation
Whether it is active recreation such as hiking, canoeing/kayaking, enjoying a bike ride, or more leisurely recreation like enjoying a picnic in one of our parks, the Clermont County Park District has something to offer for everyone.

Education
The Park District's naturalist staff presents nature education programs to schools, scout groups, civic groups, and the public throughout the year. Nearly 5000 people attend our naturalist programs each year.

Conservation
The Clermont County Park District is committed to conserving and preserving the natural resources in Clermont County. The park district manages five parks, three nature preserves, a hike/bike trail, and several green spaces, encompassing more than 600 acres in all. Several recent conservation projects that have been included are a wetland restoration at Shor Park, and green space protection along the East Fork of the Little Miami River.
