Mission Statement

Far Horizons is an educational organization and center that offers varied pathways to personal and spiritual discovery through programs on the ageless wisdom, nature, healing, and world spirituality. Some programs scheduled for this 2016 summer include: yoga, zen meditation, sacred dancing, mindful hiking, buddhism, theosophy, and much more.

Description

Located in the Sequoia National Monument, Far Horizons is a metaphysical summer camp and retreat center, where, since 1954, people have found rest, stillness and discovery in a nurturing atmosphere. A strong and open sense of community has been at the heart of Far Horizons and everyone is welcome. We offer opportunities for group participation, quiet space, study, and fun. Whether you seek serenity or kinship, tranquil quiet, or the challenge of personal inner exploration, we invite you to experience Far Horizons.
