Mission Statement

Patronato San Xavier is a nonsectarian, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization founded by Southern Arizona community leaders in 1978. The Patronato’s only purpose is to promote the restoration, maintenance and preservation of Mission San Xavier del Bac, a National Historic Landmark near Tucson, Arizona.

Description

The Patronato offers a volunteer docent program open to everyone. Your only qualification is your love of the art, architecture and history of Mission San Xavier del Bac.

Our training program for new docents starts with an introductory meeting to be held October 12th at the Mission. For more information, contact Tony Doughty, Docent Coordinator, at (520) 625-7980
