Description

From its beginning in 1990, the Glenn L. Martin Maryland Aviation Museum, a 501 (c) (3) status museum housed in a World War II airplane hangar on the sight of the historic Glenn L. Martin Company’s airport, now known as Martin State Airport, has been serving the Baltimore region as an educational, cultural, and research facility, providing an institution dedicated to collecting, preserving, exhibiting and interpreting Maryland’s aviation and aerospace history. This volunteer operated organization provides exhibit tours, special events, education programs, and research materials. Public visiting hours are Wednesday through Saturdays 11am to3pm, with group tours available six days a week.
