Assistance League of the Foothill Communities, founded in 1953, is a nonprofit organization of dedicated volunteers providing and funding philanthropic programs, which serve specific needs of children and young adults in the West End of the San Bernardino County

Description

Assistance League of the Foothill Communities is a nonprofit organization serving children and young adults in our communties. Our Philanthropic Programs are:

Operation School Bell purchases new school clothing for children in need in grades 1 thru 6.

Fostering New Beginnings provided startup kitchen and bed/bath supplies, grocery store gift cards and bus passes to young adults leaving foster care.

San Antonio Regional Hospital Dental Center is staffed by volunteer dentists, hygienists and Assistance League members. It serves patients in kindergarten to eighth grade from low income families with dental care.

AL Bears provides teddy bears to community hospitals, fire departments and police departments to distribute to children in traumatic situations.
