Friendship Clinic

Description

The Friendship Clinic has been in operation since October 2005. The clinic was established by a concerned group of volunteers led by Marie Blanchard, RN, who recognized a critical need for health services in our community. The volunteers saw that many individuals and families earn too much to qualify for Medicare or other government benefits, yet go without basic medical care because they can't afford office visits and a simple lab test. It is this population the the Freindship Clinic serves. We have seem over 800 patients. All providers work on a volunteer basis.

The Friendship Clinic is a free health clinic located at 704 South Latah in the All Saints Episcopal Church. We a presently only open on Monday evenings between 5:30 P.M. - 8:30 P.M. We are dedicated to serving the working families in our community who are without health insurance and do not qualify for Medicaid. We are currently in need of volunteers to help us in the following capacities.
