Mission Statement

Mission Statement: The Jewish Federation of Greater Santa Barbara is dedicated to building a vibrant and inclusive Jewish Community, to enhancing the well-being of Jews in Santa Barbara, Israel and throughout the world, and to strengthening the relationship between the Jewish community and the community at large. The JFGSB strives, in all of its endeavors, to preserve and foster Judaism and hold fast to its values, particularly tzedakah (charity and justice) kol Y'israel areyvim zeh lazeh (all Israel must care for one another) and tikkun olam (repairing the world).
