Description

The Mission of YWCA Fort Worth & Tarrant County is to eliminate racism and empower women. We provide social services, education, leadership, development and advocacy for women and their families. The YWCA fulfills this mission through four core programs: the Child Development Program, My Own Place Program, Supportive Living Program and Dialogues on Race.

I have mentored in the "My Own Place" program from Oct 2008-present. This has been a wonderful experience and the schedule is very flexible. The staff work very hard and I have a lot of respect for them.
