Mission Statement

The New York Foundation for the Arts' mission is to empower artists at critical stages in their creative lives.

Description

Over its nearly 50 years history, NYFA’s mission has expanded to offer critical support, resources, and other opportunities to the creative community nationwide. We do so through four core programs: Learning, Fiscal Sponsorship, Awards & Grants, and Online Resources. Our programs are tailored to the needs of our constituents, with a particular focus on serving under-represented and under-resourced communities, to ensure all individuals in the creative community receive the support they need to thrive.
