Description

We raise money at different events and fundraisers and apply for grants so we can pay for dogs and cats to be spayed and neutered for low income people.

we drive to their house and pick up the animals and take them to vet and back to homes

we attend many meetings and try to educate people about what we are doing

we report and check out all animal abuse and follow up to and through court process

There are not enough superlatives to describe this organization and its founder. It was a joy working with her and I hope to be able to assist again.

NJAFA is the most dynamic animal organization I've volunteered for - and I have over 20 years of experience as an animal welfare volunteer in many different capacities. The reason - leadership! Kathy gives clear direction about what needs to get done and she is very respectful of my time and other volunteers. Whether someone is an administrative assistant to organize the files or a hands-on helper at an event, it's a great organization for people who REALLY want to make a difference for animals.
