Carry the Future

Carry the Future was born of an idea. Just one idea to help refugees. And over the past three years we have stretched and shaped and loved this idea into a nonprofit that serves refugee families and the volunteers who want to help but didn't know how until they found Carry the Future. We want a world where a child's safety and future always come first. For refugee families that means we provide them with necessary aid and love and dignity to restore not only some sense of normalcy but also the joys of childhood that can often be lost in a very difficult situation. And the vast majority of our volunteers contribute to this mission from their home computers and smart phones while going about their daily lives at the office, sitting in car line or after the kids have gone to bed. Ive been with CTF for 1.5 years and I've loved my experience. Often, I tell people, working for and with CTF has been the honor of my life, and I truly mean that. I began writing for them and eventually transitioned to an Officer position. The team I work with is amazing and is guided by one of the smartest, most genuine, kind women I've had the honor of working with. I always feel valued and respected. There is a sense of family among volunteers and staff. And even though we are spread throughout the world, we stay connected constantly, giving it a true feel of a close knit organization. I've personally recommended CTF to people I know and I would tell anyone thinking about joining, to look through the postings and just go for it. You will affect change throughout the world and find good friends and family in the process.
