Mission Statement

Oraki Dance Company will offer an outlet where people can learn to dance, meet new people, have fun and feel comfortable. We offer a varied dance program with price options for all levels of interest. Our instructors have access to continual training with top professionals. This provides our students with up-to-date steps and technique and access to the latest dance trends. We welcome a diversity of people and aim to enrich people’s lives through education, history, culture and the art of dance; Latin dance specifically. Overall, Oraki Dance Company is committed to the enrichment and growth of Columbia’s culture and arts community.

Description

Oraki is a Latin dance company founded in Columbia, SC that has slowly but firmly expanded through SC & NC gathering some of the best social dancers and performers.

Provide access to, and host dance events, which will act as a social forum to bring these dances to people of diverse interests, backgrounds and ages.

Provide a place of comfort for those abused physically as well as mentally to learn about something as positive as dance. O pening up the door for someone who 'has a story’ can bring some peace in their lives.
