Mission Statement

The Seymour Osman Community Center and Youth Safe Haven aims to help children graduate from high school with a good work ethic, strong conflict resolution skills, clear goals for a better future and the confidence that they can achieve their goals. Additionally, we strive to support families through mediation, information and referrals, access to technology and promotion of drug-free community events.

Description

The Seymour Osman Community Center and Youth Safe Haven is a private non-profit organization affiliated with the Dover Housing Authority. We provide academic support, family and youth life skills training and recreational opportunities. We serve children in afterschool programs from 1st to 12th grade, focusing on academic support as well as enrichment activities. Also, we host a variety of community events to bring the families of the Dover Housing Authority (and other areas of the community) together in a positive, productive, manner.
