World Savvy's mission is to educate and engage youth in community and world affairs, to learn, work and live as responsible global citizens in the 21st century.
The World Affairs Challenge (WAC) is an academic program and competition on international affairs for middle and high school students. With the support of an adult coach, students work in teams of 5-12 to research a topic related to the annual global theme and prepare for Challenge Day. On Challenge Day, students participate in four events involving presentation, collaborative decision making, visual art and content knowledge. Students build critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, public speaking and leadership skills
