WASHINGTON COUNTY HUMANE SOCIETY

Description

Founded in 1979 as the "Washington County Humane Society." Later renamed PAWS & More Animal Shelter. Our goals are to:

• provide enrichment to the animals in our care to make them healthy, happy and content
• Find suitable homes for our animals
• Educate the community about our services, promote spay and neuter
• Educate through Youth Program
• Provide trap-neuter-release services for cat colonies in our area
• We have cats available for adoption at the Coralville Petco and Marion Petco in eastern Iowa. Rely on volunteers to clean the condos and spend time with the cats.
• We also bring PAWS dogs and cats to monthly Petco adoption events.
• We bring cats and dogs to adult day care centers to interact and love-up the clients.
• We also have active adult and youth volunteers at the shelter.
