Brandt Academy offers young STEM pioneers the opportunity to learn cutting-edge technology engineering from industry professionals.
Brandt Academy is a nonprofit, extracurricular, STEM school (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) for students in grades 6-12. Classes are taught year-round by volunteer professional engineers. A target student-teacher ratio of 4:1 or better facilitates highly individualized instruction, enabling students to learn at their best pace.
Our core curriculum covers electronics, computer, and software engineering from the ground up. After grasping the basics students continue to study with today's experts by way of hands-on projects. The projects push the limits of current technology, and are fun and challenging for both student and teacher alike. They're also intended to align with foreseeable trends in the high-tech industry, better preparing our students for bright careers ahead. Example project domains include autonomous land, air, and sea vehicle engineering; rocket, satellite and space systems engineering; cybersecurity; AI and machine learning; big data and big analytics; augmented and virtual reality; and more.
Brandt Academy admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. We proudly do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in the administration of our educational policies, admission policies, scholarship and loan programs, and other programs administered by the school.
