The mission of Camp Big Sky is to provide education, training and skills development to children and adults with disabilities through participation in accessible outdoor activities. Camp Big Sky exists because, in everything that we do, we believe in their value of every person and their ability to thrive.
Our camp is available, at no cost, to any person of any age with any disability and their families, friends, and caregivers. We serve both children and adults with developmental, physical, cognitive, sensory, and age-related disabilities including veterans of the United States Armed Services.
The Camp is open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from the the first of May until the end of October. Overnight camping in cabins and tents is available for nominal charge. All accommodations and activities are assessable including trail-ways, restrooms, picnic tables, boats, docks, camp fires, swings, cabins, and all recreational activities. We have boating, fishing, nature study, arts/crafts, kite flying, fossil hunting, hay rack rides, life skills training, lawn games and overnight camping.
