BBMJ is an "Educational Youth Health Sports Traveling" program working with local schools in the greater Sacramento area of Northern California. "Our mission is to introduce children (3rd to 6th grade) to sports with key fundamentals and training techniques while empowering them with a step by step process for healthy living." In essence, children are taught to implement sporting fundamentals, nutrition and total body fitness; thereby, creating and living healthier lifestyles.
Empowerment!!! Students are guided by professionals providing instruction on the importance of implementing sporting fundamentals, nutrition and total body fitness into their daily lives, thus developing healthy living practices. By utilizing our mission standards, students will begin to exercise the knowledge of health awareness with the implementation of three (3) types of sporting activities to include basketball, soccer and football. These activities will be interacted with the introduction of key tools toward living healthier lifestyles.
BBMJ’s purpose for starting this program is to assist children at an early age with the knowledge of how exercise, healthy living and diet can make a difference in their lives, via academics, behavioral application, mental focus, discipline and self-motivation.
The organization will target communities with low to middle incomes; although we welcome all who would like to participate in our program.
The program will open to include 16-30 youths (participants), grades 3 through 6 each session; lasting approximately 3-weeks; 5-days per week; 2-hours per day. This timeline may be revised based on participant application acceptance. A new group would then enter the program. Local community elementary schools that have enrolled in our organizations’ program would be the proposed teaching environment.
