Mission Statement

To empower the community to embrace the strengths of our cultures while achieving our potential.

Description

Hmong American Partnership (HAP) is a social service and community development organization whose mission is: to empower the community to embrace the strengths of our cultures while achieving our potential. HAP was established in 1990 in response to the needs and concerns of Minnesota’s growing Hmong community. As the Twin Cities became home to the largest urban concentration of Hmong in the United States, HAP expanded to be the largest Hmong nonprofit organization in the world. HAP now supports more than 25 programs and serves community members from a diverse array of cultural and ethnic backgrounds. HAP serves more than 5,000 community members annually.
