Description

Youth Academy

Dynamy's Youth Academy accepts 15 talented but underserved low income students entering their ninth grade year in the Worcester public high schools. The Youth Academy is a four-year after school leadership and enrichment program that supports and motivates young people to complete high school and attend college. Participants are enrolled in student internships, outdoor challenge trips/wilderness activities, individual mentoring, academic enrichment activities, community service, and weekly group meetings and workshops. All graduates are eligible for a full-tuition scholarship from Colleges of Worcester Consortium institutions. This program is funded through the generous contributions of individuals, corporations, and foundations.
