Mission Statement

Pay It Forward Outreach Corp (PIFOC) is delighted to share with you who we are and why we exist. We have been a service to Marion County since 2005, however in 2014 we filed for a 501(c)3, a not for profit organization, and we were granted this exemption. We have grown four fold since inception, this growth demands attention. PIFOC assists transitional families in the Marion County area with furniture, bedding, housewares, kitchen items, linens, and decorative items. Our desire is to empower these families with HOPE through this assistance and also through our furthering education classes. Hope and education is pivotal for these families to break the cycle of domestic abuse, poverty, and prolonged use of government services. Come along side with us and give HOPE and EDUCATION.

OUR EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS:

'Step to the future- Financial Counseling & Budgeting’ program is a partnership with Wells Fargo and their 'hands on’ banking program for elementary students to senior citizens. We will have classes to educate the public on how to build or correct their credit along with how to save for the future. This is a national program with Wells Fargo and has proven to be a successful program for all ages. These classes will increase financial stability for individuals and families, increase financial understanding, budgeting, credit skills, and positive behaviors and habits.

'Step to the Future- Healthy Life’ is an interactive program to improve life through fitness, health and nutrition know how. We will identify and support health education and treatment for Marion county children under 18 years of age. Our goal is to reduce childhood obesity rates by supporting efforts to increase the health of youth 18 and under through interactive programs and educate them on health, fitness and nutrition.
