Mission Statement

We believe that maintaining independence for as long as possible is important to the maintenance of an individual's self esteem. Our goal is to create an environment that is as comfortable and homelike as possible.

Description

The Haven has approximately 60 residents who may have some form of dementia.
The facility is designed with 3 neighborhoods of 20 resident apartments.
Pet visits will be in our common areas, e.g., the living room or TV room.
There may be an occasional request for the pet to visit a resident who may be in their room.
Residents often wander through out the facility, the pet visitor may be greeted by these individuals while transferring neighborhoods.
