Description
Cyberlynx is a 501(c) (3) volunteer organization founded in 1996 in Coos County Oregon. CyberLynx was formed to implement a grant from the US Department of Commerce in the Community Technology Centers program. When the program was gutted by the Bush Administration, CyberLynx morphed into a collaboration with the Public Library and the local Indian Tribe.
CyberLynx offers classes at the Library targeted at improving the use of the Public Access Computers there and how to better use a home computer in a computer lab at an assisted living facility owned by the Coquille Tribe.
