The DMASC's mission is to establish Greater Des Moines as the premier Midwest community for recreational and competitive sport participation and competition.

Greater Des Moines has a strong tradition of successful sporting events. The DMASC is experienced in handling events with 14,000 athletes at the Junior Olympic Games and premier events such as the Hy-Vee ITU World Cup Triathlon, the Principal Charity Classic and Drake Relays, which take place annually in Greater Des Moines. The DMASC is ready to partner with you to make your sporting event a success. We provide first-class venues, lodging and attractions, a central location and Midwestern hospitality.
