Description

ECAC has been providing Home Delivered and Congregate Meals to Alachua County's lower income, frail seniors since 1991. In addition to Older Americans Act meal programs funding, the agency has been awarded a City Development Block Grant for over 15 years to provide meals in incorporated Gainesville, as well as Medicaid Waiver, Community Care for Disabled Adults, and Community Care for the Elderly programs. ElderCare is in the unique position to evaluate clients through Case Management for multiple services that are available to assure that each client receives the support needed to remain independent and in their homes as long as possible.
