Mission Statement

Our mission is to promote tennis and academics for kids, with particular interest in reaching kids that are under-resourced or who experience disabilities. We also promote adaptive tennis for our military and veterans, and their families, who have been injured or face illness due to combat.

Description

Our vision is to provide quality programs on community tennis courts or through partnerships with community centers, schools, churches, and other outreach avenues. Through tennis and our commitment to academics, we believe some of Hampton Road's up and coming leaders will rise through our program

The opportunities that Beach Junior Tennis CTA - NJTL offer will develop tennis players and leaders in the community who may not have otherwise had the opportunity.

As a not-for-profit organization, our success depends on the support of the community, supporters of tennis in Virginia Beach, and philanthropists who believe in providing opportunities quality academic support and tennis programming to help children reach their goals. We are a 501(c)3 public charity that is 100% volunteer operated.

All of our tennis is offered low cost on community courts in Virginia Beach. We do not turn away anyone who wishes to participate in our programs, including tennis or academic support regardless of ability to pay. All donations directly benefit our constituents.
